The aim of the study courses to obtain the first level Degree of the School of Painting is to provide artistic skills in the training of qualified professionals who, taking account of the diversity of the languages and innovations in techniques, are able to pursue individual research in the field of painting linked to the traditional techniques, and their elaboration in the context of experimenting with new expressive languages.
Graduates of the School’s degree courses must:
Graduates of the School will conduct professional activities in various fields, both as freelance artists and in the field of visual arts and creative activities, as well as collaborating, in relation to the various fields of application, in the planning, design and implementation of specific interventions of painting, both with traditional tools and new technologies, in addition to the new linguistic expressions that may be encountered at national and international exhibitions.
The Academy will organise, in agreement with public and private organisations, the most appropriate internships and work placements in order to attain the specific professional skills, in addition to defining specific training models for each study course.
Per essere ammessi al corso di Diploma Accademico di primo livello occorre essere in possesso di un diploma di scuola secondaria superiore o di altro titolo di studio conseguito all’estero, riconosciuto idoneo. La selezione degli studenti ammessi al corso viene fatta su base di un esame di ammissione finalizzato all’individuazione delle qualità formali e delle competenze tecnico-artistiche possedute dal candidato, con particolare riferimento alle tecniche della rappresentazione e della progettazione.
Le prove di ammissione prevedono:
– prova di disegno dal vero, con uso, o non, di modelli viventi o di qualunque altro soggetto, a seconda delle scelte della Commissione;
Le prove si svolgeranno in giorni successivi e termineranno con un colloquio attitudinale.
La prova finale si compone di:
– un progetto artistico consistente nella produzione di elaborati su tema specificamente assegnato dal docente del corso della disciplina d’indirizzo cui lo studente risulta iscritto;
– una tesi di carattere storico-teorico o metodologico o tecnico-artistico, sotto forma di saggio breve, in una delle discipline comprese nel curriculum didattico o nel piano personale di studi svolta sotto la guida di un docente responsabile (relatore).
