Interschool Second level degree courses
The course enables students to acquire:
1) the ability to plan, coordinate and conduct free expression workshops in educational facilities, museums, places of recreation, public and private social welfare centres, with particular emphasis on the relational aspects
2) the ability to plan and organise educational activities for minors, the diversely able, the elderly and sick (in rest homes, reception and care centres, such as mental health centres or oncological, paediatric, neurological and rehabilitation centres in general) but also for users for whom a course of creative experience can provide helpful suggestions for improving efficiency and quality in the exercise of the professions
3) organisational expertise and ability in the management of exhibition spaces, the curating of events connected to the organisation and running of creative studios
4) knowledge in the field of educational counselling aimed at developing specific expertise and relational quality
Employment prospects
The qualification gives access to 1st and 2nd level University Master’s and/or other two-year 2nd level specialist courses.
The qualification of “Second level degree in Visual Arts” enables the attainment of the following teaching qualifications in secondary schools: artistic education, drawing and history of art.
As an employee or freelance, the operator of an artistic studio in the educational and social field may work for companies, institutes, public and private organisations and cooperatives that operate in the fields of Cultural Heritage, educational in general (schools, museums, libraries, educational and cultural centres, foundations etc.) and social-health care (mental health centres, hospitals, rest homes etc.).
